Please recall that I’ve informed you that we will have a class visitor tomorrow (Wednesday 3/29). I am being observed by one of my fellow professors in the English department (peer evaluation). Remember that I am being observed, NOT any of you. Our classroom remains a safe space and my colleague’s visit tomorrow will in no way affect your standing in the class or the college. 🙂
I have just updated the Assignments page of this website – please check it! But to remind you once again, for tomorrow:
- Please make sure you have read the excerpt from Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg (CLICK HERE to read)
- Please also read “Howl” and other poems by Allen Ginsberg (CLICK HERE to read)
- Take a look at the graphic novel biography of Ginsberg (CLICK HERE to read)
We will continue our discussion of Feinberg and Stone Butch Blues; I am going to have you all do some group work on the reading. If we have time, we’ll move on to Ginsberg.
See you all tomorrow and hope we have a great class,
Prof. Jaime Weida
